English teacher in USA,Korea,China and Philippines since 2001.I wasnt really close to anyone at wuhs  for was only there 1 year and moved to Nebraska,Utah and back to California. Made it to1986 whus class reunion. Nobody really knew who I was and I wasn't really popular that last year of high school accept for buying the week-end booze using my older brother's army ID. Rathburn and Sipple remember me and my brother Ross.(HaHa!) Its all water under the bridge and was one of many memorable experiences in my life! Good old WUHS-Class of 66!

so glad to catch up on this page. Good to see Mr. Dunlap's post, or can we still call him coach.  Class of 67 and my time at Wheatland were some wonderful years. When is '67 having a reunion?
Gail Andrews Sumpter - 03-25-2015
I've been on this web page several times but never signed a guest book. I've enjoyed looking at pictures and remembering people and places.

I attended the class reunion of the classes of 64-65.  Extremely successful.  Many faculty members attended.  Coordinated by Pete Bromas and committee.  I felt that the key to the success of this reunion was that it was local....i.e. at the Bonanza Convention Center, including Friday night cocktail party and Saturday night dinner.

Would like to see or hear from old Wheatland friends.  Might move my retirement out to Sacramento in the next year.  Only had 1965 with ya'll but remains a great memory.
Have stayed in touch some with Mike Cavidi during the last two years, but I guess he has moved on from Petaluma. I am in NC mountains now but stay mobile. Finished high school in AL in 66. Names run through my head often from that one great year at Beale AFB. Zielinski, Rocha, Seiler, Palmer, Kinder, Corsetti, Farmer, Even Mr. Trousdale. Still have sister and all her family in Sacramento. Will stay tuned to the website. Let me hear from ya'll

I've been looking for years for information on my old classmates from 1962-63 when I was a freshman at WUHS. I find your website very informative and the pictures in the yearbooks bring back many memories of old friends. Although I was a member of the class of '66, my Dad was transferred to Larson AFB in Moses Lake, WA. where I spent two years.  And then he was transferred to RAF Bentwaters, England, and I graduated from Lakenheath American High School at RAF Lakenheath.  I never wanted to leave Wheatland and it was very difficult to say goodbye. Thanks for having such a great website.

Well, my old pal Mike Moore and I were talking about Wheatland High and the good times we had there.  I did not Graduate with my class of 69.  So many good stories, anyway just putting this out there.
Sorry to see so many classmates are passed.

Class of 1963. I think there were less than 65 of us.
I have very good memories of Wheatland & Beale AFB. I am on FACEBOOK. My friends list may contain people that you recall.

Great pictures from Homecoming 2009 - thanks for sharing those. Now I'm sorry I didn't make the trip up there this year. Class of '70: check us out on Facebook and Classmates for next year's reunion news!

First visit to the site - great work! Good to see that some of our 1966 graduating class are still around and keeping in touch. I've retired - sort of - after moving around the world while my husband was in the military and the foreign service. Great experience for a cultural anthropoligist. Taught all levels from pre-K through college and am now writing fantasy novels, as yet unpublished. Is there another reunion in the works? It would be great to see people for real again.
