The WHS 100th Anniversary Celebration is this coming Saturday. The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Main St. in Wheatland.
Tables and chairs will be set up at the high school for getting together with classmates. There will be name tags at the tables and places to sign in to let others know that you were there. Old yearbooks will be on sale. Steak sandwiches and chicken sandwiches will be sold at the BBQ area. 100th Anniversary memory books will be for sale and commemorative t-shirts and badges, too.
There will also be an expanded handicapped parking area for those who need it. The weather is supposed to be great. Come watch the parade then head over to the school to hook up with old friends.

On Oct. 13th, the WHS celebration parade will start at 10:00 in downtown Wheatland. Dino Corbin ('70) has agreed to be the M.C. After the parade, class groups will be meeting at the high school for mini-reunions. The only cost will be to purchase food at the concessions if you'd like.
Mr. Crabtree and his committee have been working hard to create a memory book for everyone who attends. The names of all WHS alumni will be in the book.
When you're in Wheatland, you might like to check out Bishop's Pumpkin Farm. It's a great place to take your family. And by the way, have you "Googled" Wheatland lately? You won't believe how much it has grown.
