Help Celebrate Our 100th Anniversary

Wheatland High School is seeking any and all interested alumni, students, parents, and staff to serve on a Steering Committee to help plan the Centennial Celebration of Wheatland High School, earmarked for the week of October 8-13, 2007. 

The next Steering Committee meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 10, 2007, at 6:00pm in the Library.  It's not too late... if you are interested in becoming part of this exciting event, please call Mr. Contreras at 530-633-3100 x112.

Here is the Centennial Celebration Agenda for Saturday, October 13, 2007:

10:00 - Parade
Route will be that of the Pet Parade Route in the old part of town.

11:00-3:00 - “Reunion on the Quad”
Tables will be set up in the quad, divided up by decades. Meet old friends, reminisce.

11:00-2:00 - BBQ!
Wheatland High School's own Chef Kuulei Moreno, Class of 1979, will be cooking.

12:00 - Volleyball vs. East Nicolas
Tribute to long time Volleyball Coach Mary Ann Harrison

3:30 - Football vs. Las Plumas

Post Game: Class of 1957 plans to meet at Bill’s Place

Hey! Class of 1966???  How about  a trip to Red Hill?

Other Reunions planning to meet include the classes of 1972, 1982, and 1997.  Any other classes interested in meeting please contact the school and they will put it on their alumni site. 

Centennial Program

The Centennial Committee is putting together a Centennial Program and is including Business Card, 1/4 page. half page and full page ads for families and alumni of Wheatland High School. A free copy will go to anyone who purchases an add. Programs will be given away at the October 13 Homecoming Reunion for a donation. If you would like to have a program and donate to the Centennial and cannot make it to the festivities, we will mail one to you for the cost of the postage. Please contact the number below.
