Dad's Passing

Since alot of you knew my dad; I wanted to let you know that my dad passed away on April 7.  He had been ill for some time, but of course when it happens, it doesn't make it any easier.  Our family has certainly experienced more than our share of losses in the past few years.  My dad loved our class and talked about it all the time.  Even in his later years , he would recall taking us around on his tractor and trailer when we were in elementry school.  In high school he used it for our floats.  He remembered vividly having to pull some of us (I won't mention any names) out of the gravel bar on Jasper Lane.  He dearly loved our football team (remember dad was our announcer at the games and did so long after we were gone) He was particullary fond of Danny, Wilson, Mike, Dave, and Cary. When Cary came to live with us for awhile-dad used to smile like he had another son.  Dad, would do anything for us.  He was my best friend and I shall miss him so.  If you get a chance , please say a prayer for dad and also for my mom.
