Body:	<i>Mr. Montoya was the faculty advisor for the yearbook during my last two years of school. Working with him (and taking his classes) inspired me to become a journalist; his influence shaped my love of investigative journalism when I worked for the AP. But, I think it was his way of approaching issues, posing critical questions and deconstructing ideas, of requiring us to push ourselves to examine notions, question prejudices and interpret life experiences in creative ways that has touched my work. His courageous and, at times, subversive approach was always in the back of my mind when I taught English Comp and Literature. He remains one of my favorite teachers! </i> *
